Happy to hear that- just a view remarks:

- you have to rmmod the modules as described when you suspend, otherwise you
will face trouble on resume because the module cannot handle the
suspend-procedure correctly.

the following only refers to familiar, I do not know angstroem at all (- if
some readers have experiences and solutions with the following problems under
angstroem pse let us know):

I was always facing the problem that the current consumption was very high so
I had to recharge the device nearly every day.
After long investigations and the generous help of a friend who is a geek in
kernel-compiling I found this two solutions:

1. With the original acx-Modules, the wlan stays switched on, even if you
unload the modules- so the device can run only half the time even if you do
not need wlan. To get rid of it, my friend changed the code of the
acx-Modules so the radio powers down when they're unloaded.

2. With the original 2.6.15-hh1-Kernel, the unit discharged the battery when
suspended. Cause for this was the navpoint (cursor-keys etc.): it must be
switched into a kind of sleep-mode, but the original kernel did not provide
this- so my friend again compiled a modified kernel without the
navpoint-support at all and wrote a kernel-module which is (according to the
acx) loaded und unloaded on resume and suspend.

Only with this two steps I found the hx4700 usable under familiar-linux.

Since I was testing this improvements the last few weeks I have not updated
the wiki on familiar.org yet.
So I hope for some feedback here to decide if it's worth the time at all to do
this.

Merry christmas to all of you!

Michael
