Hello,

as there are some drumkits with wav files, i wanted to ask if i should convert
them to flac. (i'm a little flac-fanboy, so i would do it ;))

And what about the idea to include an LICENCE file into every drumkit, so that
everything is clear on the licencing of the drumkits.

As my starting point i used the drumkits which are available through the
hydrogen website.
Some licencing issues i could clear with Sebastian.
> - Alle Millo-Kits mit Lizenz "GPL" versehen und als .h2drumkit speichern
> - Alle Classic-Kits mit Lizenz "Public Domain" versehen (ausser Classic-626)
> und als .h2drumkit speichern.

The following kits from the homepage have no <licence> tag in the drumkit.xml
file:
3355606kit
audio-kits_1-0
Boss_DR-110
Classic_626
ErnysPercussion
Millo-Drums_v.1
Synthie-1
TD-7kit
Techno-1
TR808909
TR808EmulationKit
VariBreaks
YamahaVintageKit

Does anyone of you know which licence they have?
Maybe some kits are not directly available on the homepage because there were
some tar/zip files which had more than one drumkit inside.

Another point is, if some other names should be changed. At the moment i think
on the TR808909, TR808EmulationKit, Boss_DR-110 as they have also
productnames or brandnames in it.

What i did until now:
Convert every .wav files to flac.
Rename all files, which had ugly names.
Corrected the drumkit.xml files.
Fixed typos.

What is to do:
Check all the questions above and discuss it.
Test all the drumkits. (Maybe build a small script to do that.)
Bring the folders into the h2song format. (tar and gzip them. ;))
Upload the new and fully working drumkits.
After all that, find another work which should be done, or try to code
something. (Maybe the displaying part of the LICENCE files from the drumkits
in hydrogen.)

Kind regards,
Harald
