imo, this is a good idea. and it is not to much work to add an licence file 
into the drumkit.

I am not sure if the gpl license is the right license for audio files.
imo, licenses like the green or yellow openmusic license or the creative 
commons attribution-sharealike
license are more suitable for audio files.      

I use the green open music license for my drumkit (K-27_Trash_Kit)
