Zhimao, ldconfig is good, otherwise the Hypertable would not work at all, but it works. I wrote few applications using Hypertable. They work as well.
Only some tests do not pass. I just posted in hypertable-user, I finally make a configuration close to Doug's and all tests passed. But if I use Ubuntu 9.10 (instead of CentOS 5.4) on the same machine, or the same version of CentOS on cloud hosting's Xen instance (instead of real server) - some tests failed, sometimes with core dump. I have no answer why. 2010/2/21, Zhimao Guo <[email protected]>: > Why I cannot see my reply ? > > On Feb 14, 12:06 pm, Masha <[email protected]> wrote: >> Yes, make alltests >> >> Fresh compiled from git://scm.hypertable.org/pub/repos/hypertable.git >> >> On Feb 14, 4:49 am, Doug Judd <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> >> >> > Did you launch the servers with: make alltests ? >> >> > On Sat, Feb 13, 2010 at 7:17 PM, Masha <[email protected]> wrote: >> > > Hello >> >> > > Is the test suite in actual state ? >> > > I have a lot of the tests failed. >> >> > > ================================= >> > > 70% tests passed, 18 tests failed out of 61 >> >> > > The following tests FAILED: >> > > 39 - ThriftClient-perl (Failed) >> > > 40 - ThriftClient-python (Failed) >> > > 44 - RangeServer-load-exception (Failed) >> > > 46 - RangeServer-maintenance-threads (Failed) >> > > 47 - RangeServer-row-overflow (Failed) >> > > 49 - RangeServer-sequential-load (Failed) >> > > 50 - RangeServer-split-recovery-1 (Failed) >> > > 51 - RangeServer-split-recovery-2 (Failed) >> > > 52 - RangeServer-split-recovery-3 (Failed) >> > > 53 - RangeServer-split-recovery-4 (Failed) >> > > 54 - RangeServer-split-recovery-5 (Failed) >> > > 55 - RangeServer-split-recovery-6 (Failed) >> > > 56 - RangeServer-split-recovery-7 (Failed) >> > > 57 - RangeServer-split-recovery-8 (Failed) >> > > 58 - RangeServer-split-merge-loop10 (Failed) >> > > 59 - RangeServer-bloomfilter-rows (Failed) >> > > 60 - RangeServer-bloomfilter-rows-cols (Failed) >> > > 61 - RangeServer-ScanLimit (Failed) >> > > ================================= >> >> > > -- >> > > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google >> > > Groups >> > > "Hypertable Development" group. >> > > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. >> > > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >> > > [email protected]<hypertable-dev%2bunsubscr...@googlegroups.com> >> > > . >> > > For more options, visit this group at >> > >http://groups.google.com/group/hypertable-dev?hl=en.- Hide quoted text >> > > - >> >> - Show quoted text - > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Hypertable Development" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/hypertable-dev?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hypertable Development" group.
