PART ONE OF TWO

Dearly Beloved Daughter,

<:-(    [<:-(]    [:-(         My heart aches for you.  I fear that you are headed for so much grief, hardship and sorrow if things donât change. Yes you are both under great stress now, but you both have chosen to put yourselves under that stress.  I know you know that stress is not a permit to be unkind, impatient and ungodly.  Now that your husband knows that it is wrong, even sinful, for you, his wife, to talk disrespectfully to her husband, I donât believe that your husband will endure your talking down to him,  talking to and about him as if he were inferior, criticizing or belittling him -- especially in the presence of others.  Isnât it possible that he is escaping into the TV from the way you talk to him?  A man needs the respect God commands the wife to show to her husband.   It breaks a manâs heart to be disrespected by the woman he loves, and whose love and respect he yearns for.  If a wife refuses to give her husband the commanded respect, at least his love and passion for her will diminish, and he may be driven into the arms of a woman who will respect him, meeting his need for respect and for feeling loved and wanted.

I know that you Love Jesus and want to obey Him, knowing that obeying Him is
Loving Him.
***Jn 14:15 Â If ye love me, keep my commandments.  . . .  21 He that has my
commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; but he that loves me
shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

You know that such obedient Love is the birthmark of the true child of God.
***1 Jn 2:3* Â And by this we may know that we know Him--if we continuously
keep on regularly obeying His commands. 4 He who professes to know Him, and yet
does not continuously keep on regularly obeying His commands, is a liar, and
the truth has no place in his heart. 5 But whoever continuously keep on
regularly obeying His Message, in him love for God has in very deed reached
perfection. By this we can know that we are in Him. WEY

'?'  ~?~  ^?^   I know you think you can handle anything, but why go out of
your way to make your life and the lives of your loved ones less than it could
be? The first commandment is that we Love each other. Specifically that means
that the highest priority is for each of us, including you, is to Love each
other even if the other doesn't return that Love.
***Jn 13: 34 A new commandment I give to you, that ye Love one another; as I
have Loved you, that ye also Love one another. 35 By this shall all know that
ye are disciples of mine, if ye have Love amongst yourselves.

=:-|   <:-|    Out of Love for Jesus you have to focus on your part in the
marriage, as a disciple of King Jesus and trusting Him to work and will His
great Love in you, which is to be patient with Nick, kind to Nick, envy-free,
jealousy-free, advancing his interests, assertive for his needs, seeking his
benefit, boastful of the good in him, humbly recognizing and accepting his and
your own limitations (1 Cor 13). You have to focus on your part, which is to
behave well, to be angry at evil but patient with Nick's weakness, forgiving
wrongs done to you by Nick as Christ called for the forgiveness of those crucifying
Him, rejoicing in truth and merciful justice together, standing up and
speaking out for merciful justice and truth in your relationship and in the
relationships around you, taking the chance/risk of trusting Jesus with all areas of
your life, and hoping for the best with patient endurance (1 Cor 13).

=:-|   <:-|    Got to have your priorities straight as well.  First of all
you've been called to  be daughter and servant of the Most High God, to seek
His Kingdom and His righteousness first and foremost in your life (Mat 6:33,34).
Secondly you have chosen to be and been called to be a godly mother and wife,
one who "fondly likes and in a friendly manner regularly,  affectionately and
kindly welcomes"  (phileo + philoteknos) both her children and husband.
***Titus 2: 4 They should school the young women to be affectionate (phileo +
philoteknos) to their husbands and to their children, to be sober-minded,
pure in their lives,

We know that single women are exempt from much of the curse that came on all
women due to Eve's transgression, being free from pregnancy, birthing pains,
desiring a man, the distractions of married life, and the God ordained rule of
the husband over the wife.
***Ge 3:16* Â To the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy travail and
thy pregnancy; with pain thou shalt bear children; and to thy husband shall be
thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.
***1 Cor 7:34 There is a difference between the wife and the virgin. The
unmarried cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and
spirit; but she that has married cares for the things of the world, how she
shall please her husband.

We know that single women in Christ are free from all of God's instructions
to wives.  They are free to speak and ask questions in the assembly, to teach
and have authority over men in the assembly.
*** 1Cor 14:34* Â Let your wives be silent in the assemblies, for it is not
permitted to them to speak; but to be in subjection, as the law also says. 35
But if they wish to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home;
for it is a shame for a wives to speak in assembly.
***1Tim2: 11 A wife should quietly learn from others with entire submissiveness. 12* I do not permit a wife to teach, nor have authority over a husband, but she must remain silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, and then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but his wife was thoroughly deceived, and so became involved in transgression.

=:-|   <:-|     The preceding passages show that it is a different situation
for women once they become wives because of the curse Eve's sin brought on
wives (Ge 3:16) and because of the order of creation (1Cor 11:1-12).  Personally
I believe another reason for difference in the Lord's instructions to wives
is an extension of Ge 3:16, where the wife is called to submit herself to her
husband as a spiritual discipline to help keep her from pride and boasting (2
Cor 12:7-10).  The psychs and shrinks have learned that women's brains are far
more developed than men's for handling relationships and emotions. This
superiority greatly enables the woman to be an excellent mother, to handle her
emotions better and to handle  well the complexity of intense and emotional
relationships that one experiences when one is called upon to be both a mother and a
wife at the same time.  So when a woman chooses to become a wife, she
voluntarily gives up her freedom to speak and ask questions in the general assembly of the saints, her freedom to teach and have authority over men in the assembly.
Becoming a wife she has chosen to not be a speaker or a questioner in the
general assembly, to not teach husbands in the general assembly, to not have and
exercise authority over husbands in the general assembly.
*** 1Cor 14:34* Â Let your wives be silent in the assemblies, for it is not
permitted to them to speak; but to be in subjection, as the law also says. 35
But if they wish to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home;
for it is a shame for a wives to speak in assembly.
***1Tim2: 11 A wife should quietly learn from others with entire
submissiveness. 12* I do not permit a wife to teach, nor have authority over a husband,
but she must remain silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, and then Eve; 14 and
Adam was not deceived, but his wife was thoroughly deceived, and so became
involved in transgression.

=:-|     <:-|      Please note that a husband has absolutely no authorization from God to make his wife submit herself to him.  None of us are to be masters over other believers, ones who exercise authority over other believers, and/or ones who subdue and master other believers.
***Luke 22: 25 But He said to them, âThe kings of the Gentiles are their
masters, and those who exercise authority over them are called Benefactors. 26*
With you it is not so [there being no king or master over you but God, no one
exercising authority over you but God]; but the greatest among you should be as
the younger, and the leader should be like him who serves. 27 For which is the
greater--he who sits at table, or he who waits on him? Is it not he who sits
at table? But my position among you is that of one who waits on others.
***1 Peter 5: 1 Â I exhort the elders who are among you, I being also an
elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory
that shall be revealed. 2 Feed the flock of God among you, taking the
oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily;  3 NOR AS
SUBDUING AND MASTERING THOSE ALLOTTED to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.

=:-|   <:-|     Please note that it is the wife who is called upon to submit her own self to her husband's leadership in everything.
***Ephes 5:20 Always and for everything let your thanks to God the Father be
presented in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 Â and submitting yourselves
to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Married
women, submit yourselves to your own husbands as if to the Lord; 23 because a husband is the Head of his wife as Christ also is the Head of the
Church, being indeed the Saviour of this His Body. 24 And just as the Church
submits to Christ, so also married women should be entirely
submissive to their husbands.
>>>Strong's 5293 hupotasso; v
1) to arrange one's self under, to subordinate one's self
2) to subject one's self, put in subjection one's self
3) to subject one's self, obey
4) to submit one's self to one's control
5) to yield one's self to another's admonition or advice
6) to obey, be subject
++++In non-military use, it was "a voluntary attitude of giving in, cooperating, assuming responsibility, and carrying a burden".
>>>Strong's 3956 pas {pas}; adj; all things, everything

This is the Lord's Word through Paul several times as well as through Peter.
Col 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as
it is fit in the Lord.
Tit 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
1Pe 3:1* Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; . . . 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

But the King's Word goes beyond just submitting one's self to her husband.
She is instructed to treat her husband with respect.
***Ephes 5:33* Yet I insist that among you also, each man is to love his own
wife as much as he loves himself, and let a married woman see to it that she
treats her husband with respect. WEY
***Eph 5:33* However, for you individually, let each love his wife as if she
were himself; and the wife be careful to respect her husband.TCNT

'?'  ~?~  ^?^   How does this "respect" go beyond the honor, respect, reverence, veneration and deference we are to have for our rulers and our parents?
>>>Strongâs phobeo; v: to fear (i.e. hesitate -weighing the consequences-) to do something (for fear of harm); to reverence, venerate, to treat with deference or reverential obedience

=:-|   <:-|     Obviously this kind of respect goes far beyond the honor and
respect we are accustomed to have and show to our rulers and parents in our
present society.  Why should a wife fearfully weigh the consequences of the way
she relates to her husband? What harm should she fear, that would motivate
her to reverence, venerate and treat her husband with deference and reverential
obedience? Why is she commanded to have this same circumspect and
aware-of-consequences "phobeo" reverential fear for her husband that she is commanded to have for her God?
Mt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Ac 10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth
God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
Ac 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever
among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
Ro 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by
faith. Be not highminded, but fear
: 21 For if God spared not the
natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

'?'  ~?~  ^?^   What if the husband is backslidden, carnal and behaves in an
unLoving manner?  We know that God sets outstanding, valiant and wise rulers
over His children.  Yet we know David's weakness with Bathsheba and with his
children.  We know Solomon's weakness in having too many wives and marrying
unbelievers. We know that Jesus will purposefully put ungodly and evil rulers over
peoples and nations.
***Da 4:17 This sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the decision
by the word of the holy ones: that the living may know that the Most High
ruleth over the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up
over it the basest of men.

sins and present us covered with His perfect righteousness to Abba Father in
Heaven.
