Kevin, maybe doing something around C Scott's XO Bot / XOrduino / XO Stick projects ( http://cananian.livejournal.com/66654.html ) in combination with Turtle Art / Scratch programming or collaborating with the butia folks from Uruguay could be a way to emphasize the computational thinking aspects?
