(re-sending with smaller attachment to pass list moderation) I really like the idea of physics-based affordances. Space and "resistance", animations and "gravity". For instance, I remember a time when Sugar's home pie would scale in proportion with resource usage of each activity.
This screen grab from "Aqua sugar - the children's machine translated for adults" features this aspect: [image: 1805652934_c997af9f9e_o.jpg] It's telling for me that in 2007 someone felt the need to "translate" Sugar for adults.
