shale resistivity rendah bisa karena
1. banyak air yang tertrap di shale karena tidak sempat keluar pada saat
rapid sedimentation dan overburden serta kecilnya permeabilitas di shale
(SW besar RT kecil)
2. Shale diendapkan di daerah dengan salinity tinggi (offshore / jauh dari
source ) Salinity tinggi , Rw rendah, RT kecil

Jadi belum tentu juga bahwa resisitivity shale yang rendah bisa jadi
indikasi overpressure

Mungkin juga, may be I'm wrong.
Tapi, coba aja dilihat ditempat-tempat yang overpressure, yang jelas,
shale resistivity-nya semakin rendah.
Nah, kira-kira apaan yang menyebabkan resistivity-nya turun?
Yang jelas, tekanan dizona tersebut besar (shale), nah ini yang perlu
dicari kaitannya dengan penurunan resistivitynya.
Memang benar sih, kalau dalam keadaan kering, matrix batuan akan
bersifat resistif, dan batuan yang fully compacted memang akan menjadi
dry matrix.
Kalau di overpressured shale, dianya akan menjadi undercompacted.
Kalau salinity interlayered shale tetap, maka trend resistivity-nya akan
konstan.
Padahal kan yang teramati resistivity-nya justru menurun.
Padahal, resistivity berbanding terbalik dengan salinitas, dan juga ,
temperatur.
Jadi ???

Mas Bang, ente kebalik kayaknya. Derajat kompaksi meningkat maka
resistivitasnya meningkat alias konduktifinya menurun.
Jadi kalo kompaksi normal, seharusnya semakin dalam resistivity shale
akan
semakin membesar, otherwise then it tend to be under-compacted
(pressurized).
