Pak Awang yang sangat perhatian,
Panitia PIT IAGI dalam menyelenggarakan Kursus maupun Fieldtrip biasanya
bekerja sama dengan universitas, konsultan penyelenggara fieldtrip dan
berbagai instansi lainnya. Beberapa tahun ini saya terlibat panitia baik
secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Fieldtrip yang saya sampaikan ke
milis merupakan kerja sama Panitia IAGI dengan Konsultan penyelenggara.
Karena saya melihat agak terlabat penginformasian acara ini sehingga saya
mendahului penyampaian FT dan Kursus tersebut, walaupun sebenarnya Panitia
IAGI bekerja sama juga dengan MGEI untuk menyelenggarakan FT dan
kursus/seminar lainnya, dan saya lihat juga MGEI melakukan publikasi
tersendiri di lingkungan nya. Hal ini untuk penginformasian yg lebih cepat.
Karena acapkali acara Fieldtrip IAGI kurang mendapatkan peserta (kurang
peminat) karena informasi yg terlambat.

Untuk tema lain yg lebih menarik di Jatim dan Jateng mungkin saja ada, tapi
mungkin belum ada lembaga atau univ yang bisa bekerjasama pada tahun ini.

Penurunan Animo, saya agak ragu menjawabnya, karena berdasarkan pengamatan
saya di beberapa tahun terakhir ini memang kegiatan ini sedikit peminatnya.
Mungkin memang "pasar" nya cuma kecil. jadi gak bisa dipaksa.
Apa sebab utama nya saya juga kurang paham. Kalo masalah jumlah yg bapak
sampaikan, kurang pas. Harusnya apakah sejumlah FT yang disajikan itu "laku"
apa tidak. Bisa aja kita buat jumlahnya banyak tapi tidak ada satupun yang
diminati. Sewaktu PIT di Bali, banyak FT tapi gak diminati. Kalo gak salah
waktu itu hanya ada satu yg diminati dgn jumlah minim sekali, FT ke Newmont,
yg lain....?

Pernah beberapa tema kita pasarkan di PIT IAGI tapi tidak "laku" namun di
acara yang sejenis di organisasi lain "laku". Katanya sih ada kecenderungan
kalau IAGI yg mengadakan kurang "bonafide". Padahal baik IAGI maupun
Organisasi lain itu, ya itu-itu juga kan orangnya yg menyelengarakan.
Juga ada kecenderungan untuk Fieldtrip/Kursus ke Luar Negeri. karena mungkin
itu kelihatan lebih bergengsi, lebih menarik jalan-jalan nya ke negara lain
dsb.
