SAAS stands for Software as a Service. You pay a fee and use the
software that someone else has licensed. Usually you use it trough a
TCP/IP connection of some sort. Saves you from having to buy/License the
software, but you are at the mercy of the company that holds the
license. I.E. downtime problems, slow internet connection, etc...
