SaaS is a niche that is here to stay, AJAX, XML, SOAP, XBRL are making
it more robust and viable. Salesforce.com's success has certainly
proven that. For the business customer it can offer a compelling ROI,
low monthly pricing, virtually no implementation or support costs or
staff, no long term commitment. You just have to be willing to trust
you most important asset your data to "the Cloud" not such an easy
decision if the SaaS company is small or offshore, depending on your
point of view when it comes to security.
