Glen, I believe the recommendation for using Remote Copy products came from the OP's desire to do testing in the new site. TDMF is not real good at resynch.
I'm way out of date on TDMF but I thought that keeping 400 volumes synchronized used to cause CSA problems. Maybe that's fixed now.
