In a parallell form, you can try using IGGCSILC assembler program example from SYS1.SAMPLIB to perfom a basic use of IGGCSI00 against the same catalog.
I insist, it is only a basic use of IGGCSI00 because it only reports names and types but no other info from the catalog.
