The LID is pointed to by ACULRECP in the ACUCB, and there is a macro, ACFGUCB, which will give you the ACUCB address. Of course, the LID is in protected storage so it would require an APF authorized program or something like exit running in key zero in order to update it. Once you do that the user will be treated as if they have SECURITY - subject to any scope list that might be set on the LID unless your code messes with that too. As others have said, doing this in a way that cannot be abused is the tricky part. Doing it under ISPF will be just about impossible, and even if you did manage it, you will find you have removed access to all the things that make ISPF a pleasure to use.
