We used to do something like this a long time ago when we had an active 
ACF2 DDB. 

You would have to setup your ACF2 system as if it were part of an ACF2 DDB 
with your system being the only node in the system.

Then you can use the LIDMOD exit to alter anyhting in the LID at record 
retrieval time. As I rememeber, and it was quite a long time ago, the LIDMOD 
exit affects the instorage copy of the LID so you can grant special priviledges 
or take them away and not affect the actual record on the databse. 

Also, this was several releases back of ACF2. Back then the exit did get 
control for all of the LIDS retrieved, even though the manual makes it sound 
like it only for LIDS traversing the DDB net.
