Our VERSION root is on the SYSRES and contains the SYSRES name, which we change whenever we install maintenance,...SYS1.VSver1.OMVS.ROOT , SYS1.VSver2.OMVS.ROOT, etc. Our SYSPLEX root is in the SMS System pool.
