Dears; I have a great problem with one of my IBM servers. there was a time, that i don't boot as all and, it's SAS disk was not detect properly. theirs nice green LED (SAS DISK) wasn't light any more. so i replaced those disk (absolutely by HP SAS 10K DIsk - replace the DISK cage by my self). new disk detected properly, i was able to RAID them and install a pure linux distro on it. ofter that i resend that server back to DATAcenter, i found that it dosen't boot any more.
DISK are in the Healthy mood, i am able to reRAID them and reinstall new OS, boot after 2-3 reboot or just after that i do some IO (like installing some packages) the BOX goes down again. i do the Diagnostic many time, at the first 2-3 minute all the IO check get PASS! but after a little that PASSED check will drop in Failed Status. What Should i do? or is there anyway for me to find out the reason? -- Regards, Ali R.
