Then you construct your own jobcards. Standard for SUBMIT and STATUS/OUTLIST is userid+1char. Jobnames are limited to 8 chars, so you can calculate the limit for userids. As John Eels said, when storage was expensive, 7 posistions in UADS and controlblocks were enough to store the information.
