Time slice? Normally PR/SM is running interrupt driven, not time sliced unless you tell configure it so. If the 2 lpars run in the same sysplex, WLM can manage both lpars and the workload in them. But yes, it is probably more efficient to consolidate the lpars, if you have not specific reason to separate them.
