Has anyone been able to successfully reproduce the pseudo-code example provided in the HCD User's Guide for this interface in Assembler ? I developed a module which I expected would do exactly that but even after numerous adjustments to the various parameters, I cannot get the service to return more than the first interface record for the device being requested when, according to the example, the information for 20 devices should be returned. As information goes, this is one of the more poorly documented IBM interfaces, even going so far as to make coding the machine-readable versions of the CBDZ macros the user's responsibility.
