Lizette: Of course my example used CICS but as you mentioned TSO will act exactly the same. BTW the APPLID can be called anything ((almost anyway). I have designed a few such systems and ts fun to watch the system evolve and subsequent systems peoe screw around with naming standards and it becomes a royal mess.
