I vaguely remember at one time seeing some code which did "chain chasing" to find the ACB for the JESLOG SPOOL dataset. The code could then do a PUT with an ACB= and RPL= to write to the JESLOG like a VSAM ESDS file. This avoided any chance of going to the SYSLOG like sometimes happens with WTO ROUTCDE=11. Does anybody else remember this or have the code?
