You mean by 'created' when it was given to SMF? You can control the time
it can wait in SMF buffers with the MAXDORM(nnnn) parameter.

We had one job that lasted a week. We had to change code to allow for
this and it wasn&#39;t easy to change the code especially across months
and years. We also wrestled with the DLS time issue a lot.
