John Just to let you know that you have not been forgotten. Apart from the general demands from my employer I've also been to the http://foswiki.org/Community/FoswikiCamp2011 in Geneva recently. So progress has been intermittent.
I've looked at the state of my code and it will take a few weeks to pull it into a standalone tool; i.e. early next year. However, it's not what I'd really like to produce - at least not onto the CBT tape. I have spent a couple of years putting together a better method of writing rexx, which makes maintenance much easier for both me, and the end-user to extend without treading on each others toes. I see this as quite important, a generic JCL tool to recognise each and every keyword and sub-keyword it quite some work. However, the design will allow extensions to handle particular keywords -or sub-keywords, and that includes local rules. Could you please contact me off list to discuss further. Would John McKown also like to contact me, your dabbling with Yacc and Perl may mean you would enjoy this stuff.
