some of the sense bits are generic ... most sense bits are device specific. there was a ios3270 version of 360 green card done long ago and far away. ios3270 was part of a menua application package done by theo alkema at the uithorne (EU) HONE system that also included the 3720 screen applications fulist and browse. HONE was the internal world-wide marketing, sales, and field support vm/370-based system. http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/subtopic.html#hone many people may be familiar with ios3270 menu applications as the screens in the 3090 service processor (the 3090 service processor was actually a pair of 4361s running vm/370 with all the service screens implemented in ios3270). the 360/67 "blue" card included several panels that gave sense bit definitions for several devices. long ago and far away, I had updated gcard with sense data for several devices. i recently did a very rudimentary implementation of the original gcard in html http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/gcard.html the sense data panels at: http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/gcard.html#17 it is still somewhat a work in progress since it still doesn't convey the feeling of the original gcard application. misc. past fulist, browse, ios3270 postings http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/96.html#41 IBM 4361 CPU technology http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/99.html#60 Living legends http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/99.html#61 Living legends http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/99.html#108 IBM 9020 computers used by FAA (was Re: EPO stories (was: HELP IT'S HOT!!!!!)) http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2000b.html#50 VM (not VMS or Virtual Machine, the IBM sort) http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2000c.html#76 Is a VAX a mainframe? http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2001b.html#83 Z/90, S/390, 370/ESA (slightly off topic) http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2001f.html#8 Theo Alkema http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2001f.html#9 Theo Alkema http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2002e.html#5 What goes into a 3090? http://www.garlic.com/~lynn/2002i.html#79 Fw: HONE was ..
