I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the FRBACKUP, but now I've created a new problem. To explain the problem I have explain the process I do now.A scheduled job runs nightly around 4:30-5:00 am. The job looks like this:

It will then perform full volume dumps of the Flashed volumes using dump class DAILYDR to my VTL tapes. Once the dumps are completed, DFSMShsm will re-initialize the flashed volumes to break the relationship between the source and target volumes. My problem is that I use the Flashed volumes in another DFSMSdss backup process. Now for the question I have, is there a way to prevent DFSMShsm from re-initializing the volumes until after the DFSMSdss process is complete? I appreciate the help...
