I am modifying a JES exit 6 program to assign a SCHENV based on what is
coded in the JCL, by setting a value in JCTSCHEN. It works fine but
what I want to do is honour any SCHENV= parameter coded on the jobcard.
However, the contents of JCTSCHEN, which is where I am putting the
derived Schenv value, appear to be missing on first entry to the exit.
Is it likley to be held anywhere else at this stage?
