Broadly speaking I have to agree with Barbara, although my exposure to OMVS(*) is primarily with SAP R3. Very minor workloads appear to eat machines - not that anyone in IBM is going to argue with that I suppose. As some-one with a passing interest in tuning/performance/diagnostics, Linux is the wild west. Shane ...
