Hello Dennis, I have had two problems when increasing ECSA allocations:.
1. CICS COBOL programs not compiled TRUNC=BIN. The increased ECSA "moved" the program addressed data above 1,000,000,000 causing address truncation (top order bits) leading to some strange abends. 2. Private area reduction, requiring DB2 address space modifications in buffer specifications (size, number and placements).
