Good idea.  I'll give it a try.  We also created the worlds shortest Cobol 
program that does something.  It calls the Assembler program thereby also 
creating an enclave.

Alan,

I suggest that you add CALL ILBOSTP0 at the beginning of the assembler 
program (make sure R13 is clean).  This is the simplest way to create 
an enclave and tell the COBOL module that it's a sub-program, not a 
main program.
