Gadi, these messages are from JES2MON - new in 1.4 I think. There was a Redbook that had a few notes on it (1.3/1.4 migration experiences ???) - search for that for some background. Just a monitor in a separate address space. Presumably designed to alert you to the fact that JES is waiting - maybe you are now noticing the delays (elsewhere) because you have the messages in front of you. That is, maybe the delay is not new, just your being aware of it. I said *maybe*. I'm not convinced it (JES2MON) is benign, but I haven't pursued the issue.
I know the PCE alerts annoy the hell out of our operators - particularly on shutdown ($PLINES).
