Hi John,

I'm pretty sure the AO folks use it if there is a buffer shortage.
They parse the output to see what console has the shortage and
change it to roll mode or perhaps even VARY it OFFLINE.

As long is it was documented in HOLDDATA with AO hold (if it was
an SPE) or in the z/OS Migration manual for whatever release the
change came in with, it's just one more consideration - so no
big deal.
