DVD's wouldn't do a thing for me. Yeah, I know, they are customers, they decide... I know a datacenter in
Poland, they received reels (not carts) until 2002, afaik. The reels were replaced with ftp.
I did a VSE install about 6 years ago using reel tape. We are trying to get as many customers as possible to send the data via FTP instead of tapes. Several are doing it.
