Why would there be antipathy from this august assembly ???. Anything on z/ is fine by me - and Linux even better. Just don't see a lot of it (here) - and what there is, is kept pretty quiet. Very little being said publicly. As I've said before, predominantly Windoze shops are going to stay 'doze, not migrate to Linux to move onto big iron. Just ain't happening. Re-training all your people to Linux (and maybe z/VM as well) is just a part of it, and we all know what's happened to training budgets. (... tada.
