Reminds me of the time we got memory errors on one CPU every day around
2:00PM. Couldn't figure it out until we noticed the janitor with his
vacuum cleaner (read BIG electro magnet) cleaning the floor next to the
CPU.
Or the time that all the tape drives in a high rise data center would
unload at the same time every day. It turned out that the sun was
reflecting off the windows in the building across the street into the
windows of the data center and hitting the light sensors in the Tape
Drive Columns and causing them to spill the tape into the column
(thinking that the loop was above the sensor level).
