Thank you. Tom, You are absolutely right - zIIP analysis requires DB2 v8. Once you've got DB2 v8 running you can do what Sam recommended. Jim Horne Lowe's Companies, Inc. Tom Kelman wrote: We are analyzing that. However, we are not currently at DB2 v8 and I understand that version 8 is needed to utilize a zIIP. If I am wrong in this understanding please let me know. Also, my gut feeling says that while our DB2 DDF processing is increasing we still don't have enough to justify getting a zIIP. Of course that'll be seen one way or the other in the analysis. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
