Far too many products just say "Run with REGION=0M" - far more than those that change the limits. I don't expect those vendors to know how much storage their products need in my environment, but I expect them to be able to tell me how to figure it out based on some set of metrics. I'm not willing to trust any product - even ones that have been well behaved for years - to not go on a storage-allocation binge. I'll quadruple a reasonable storage estimate, but I won't say "no limit". .set rant off Pat O'Keefe ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
