No. I was confused about the time zone on the machine on which I tested the code. I have access to systems with various time zone offsets. That was really PDT (Pacific Daylight Time), not Central Daylight Time (CDT) as I stated. GMT: 22:57:14.9007710000 2008/03/10 (UTC [most call it GMT]) LOCAL: 15:56:51.9007710000 2008/03/10 (Pacific Daylight Time) PST = UTC - 8 PDT = PST + 1 "spring forward" PDT = UTC - 7 -- WB ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
