We have, if I remember, one vendor product which is based on the MSU
rating of the system. Period, no discussion. We are trying to eliminate
that product. So, if anybody else has such a product, then the CPs used
for Linux will affect the z/OS software cost. Thankfully, as you pointed
out, that is now rare.
