Well, COBOL isn't _percieved_ as sexy anymore.

But you can handle ASCII and UNICODE and XML in COBOL.
You can code COBOL CGIs to run under your z/OS HTTP.
What's sexier than the web these days?



I once automated myself out of a support job.
I am a dinosaur.

I know the feeling. But we gotta' learn how to do
the new stuff on the mainframe, and let management
see it.
