Thank you Gabe, that was it. When we set up userids, it seemed like a good idea to be able also to manage users remotely in a break-fix situation. Still a good idea, but not from the same 'sysprog' userid. My last action as 'ACS ADMIN' was to remove that authority from myself. After logging off/on, I now get all the Single Operation functions I'm used to seeing. We don't need them often, but when we do, there's no substitute for most of them.
Back in the office I'm looking to set up a separate userid with ADMIN authority. I suspect that your personal ID may have the ACS Administrator privilege, which will limit your choices severely when you single object into a CPC. Similar to having the Service privilege and not having being able to load. At least, that's how I remember it. -- Gabe ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
