OK. So your home is root. Not a good idea, but I'm finding it to be pretty common. Knowing that, then here's the series of commands I recommend you issue, starting at ISPF 6: ==> oput 'BRASIL.ZOS.CONTEST.JCL(DATA1)' '/data1' binary ==> omvs (you are put into UNIX) ==> iconv -f ibm-1047 -t iso8859-1 data1 data2 ==> exit (you leave UNIX, return to ISPF 6) ==> oget '/data2' 'BRASIL.ZOS.CONTEST.JCL(DATA1)' binary done.
