It has been a while since I worked with BARR, but it was my experience that the BARR looks to the operating system like an RJE workstation. Since you don't state your operating system, I am going to assume z/OS First, the BARR must be defined to JES. You then have the output from the job go to a DD SYSOUT=class with appropriate routing parameters.
