I just got curious about this. Does anybody know what the size of the largest parallel sysplex is or about how big it is? I mean in the following metrics:
1) how many "cores"? That is CPUs? 2) How z/OS images in the system? 3) How much total real memory for all those systems? 4) How many concurrently executing application-type address spaces. That would basically be things like TSO users, batch jobs, CICS regions, other STCs which are not "service only" machines (e.g. exclude JES2, NET, TCPIP, RMF, etc). -- John ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
