running z/OS V1.9 with JAVA in Unix I would like to know if there is a way to establish the JAVA in UNIX to always get the system date and time. I would like to reduce the need to update the TZ parameter each time the time jumps.
I do have an /etc/profile which is fairly basic. As shipped by IBM. However, after reading the configuration manual for UNIX and JAVA, I am lost in translation. Any help is appreciated.
