So I take it many of you use the same name for SYSNAME, SID and JES2 NODENAME?

I must be missing something...

If every JES2 member has its own NJE node name, you create the false impression that the systems in a JESplex (MAS) are not interconnected. You'll have jobs submitted from remote nodes running on systems that differ from the names to which they were directed. You'll have NJE jobs submitted between members of the same JESplex. And, in that case, even have a job potentially run on the original "source" member rather than the intended "target" member. Isn't *that* confusing??
