I'll stick to Notes for following listservs as I have rules in place to put each listserv e-mail into its own respective folder. This makes following them very easy and with Notes (ND8.5 and possible earlier) you can have a thread view (show conversations).

If you haven't tried it I would thoroughly recommend giving it a go.
