There's a hopeful note here. If you're correct in your plausible surmise that Kurt was engaging in (displaced) self-deprecation, it implies he's sensitive to the concern.
I am sensitive to the concern. I'd like to provide a REXX interface to GIMAPI, but unfortunately its priority doesn't compare to other work. Next time I'll remember to include a smiley in my response.
