Hello, I must confess that i am ignorant on tape management and trying to understand it.
One of our physical tape didn't eject automatically after the job ended . As per RMM it shows the status as VRS. The tape dataset created by the Batch is not running anywhere in the LPAR. Is it safe to issue eject from RMM ? how do we know if particular tape is free and not being used?
