Just to summarize: MODIFY AXR,SR STOPTSO - Prevents TSO=YES execs from running and eliminates the AXRxx address spaces STOP AXR - Stops all System REXX activity i.e. the AXR address space + AXRxx address spaces all terminate
Both of these commands wait for in-progress work to complete. FORCE AXR,ARM can be used to terminate System REXX, but it's not recommended since asynchronously abending tasks in the AXR or AXRxx address spaces may produce unexpected results.
